Not bad at all. If you are looking for a solid American-style pizza, give this place a shot. They have a good-sized beer menu and a wide selection of pizza. They have square pizza, which is cool. The place is not too small, so a larger group could be problematic. I ordered a 12-inch with pepperoni, red onions, and mushrooms. It was good, not amazing. The staff was awesome; I have no complaints. If I was in the area, I would go back.

This is my favorite pizza place in Howard County. The crust is delicious and the house pizzas are heavenly...especially the Classic. My husband and daughter love the pepperoni pizza and we all love the Caesar salad.

BLUF: Excellent pizza but service was a miss so perhaps best for take out. My husband and I dined in at HomeSlyce while running errands in the area on a Saturday. We were the only ones dining in but there was a steady stream of people coming to get carryout - perhaps that was a sign. Being it was our first time to HomeSlyce, we had to study the menu. With our heads in the menu (a tablet) the server walked over and asked us, "ready to order?" To which I replied, "No, it's our first time here so we're trying to navigate the menu." He just nodded and walked away which seemed so strange to me. No offer to answer questions, make suggestions, walk through the menu, etc. Anyway, we finally figured out what we wanted and we both placed orders for lunch specials. It is really nice that HomeSlyce offers lunch specials seven days a week whereas many places exclude the weekends. Kudos to HomeSlyce for that. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza and I had the Philly Steak and Cheese. Both were 8" personal pizzas and both were good but the Philly was the clear winner in my book. We also both got sodas which are $3 and come with one refill. To claim our refill, we had to go up to the bar and ask for it. So again, not really a place that is excelling at service so next time I think I will follow suit with the many other patrons and get my pies to go.

HomeSlyce gets 5 stars from us for their premium pizzas alone. We go there for the Grand Classic with its Turkish-cuisine inspired roasted red peppers, eggplant and walnuts. Our spicy-food-loving friends go for the Hottie Hottie with mango habanero sauce and spicy sausage or the Buffalo Chicken. Lots of other pizza options (including whole wheat or gluten-free crust) and even create-your-own. Sandwiches, too. The ambience is classic pizzeria -- nothing fancy but with pizza that good, it doesn't need to be

A great spot to get great pizza even though it's a little pricey. I come to this place at least once a quarter as it has a variety of pizza flavors that you can't really find anywhere else. The pizza is made fresh and it always comes out hot. They also have a variety of beers as they are more of a pizza and bar spot. The wings are pretty good too. The prices are a bit high but if you can make it for their specials that makes things more reasonable. We came this time on a Friday night and it was not that busy. Only two other families were in the restaurant. However, they had a ton of takeout orders. I predict there was at least one person coming to pick up an order every 15 minutes we were there eating our dinner. They also have a few TVs hanging up around so I imagine when local sports teams are playing things may be more crowded. We will certainly be back to continue to support this great establishment.

Glad to see they're still around and holding on strong!!! Since my last review, the Foggy Bottom location closed. So this is my most convenient location to access! If there isn't traffic, I can get there in about 25 minutes, so it's not bad! Some friends and I most recently swung by after axe throwing nearby. It was about an hour before they closed. We were a party of 9 or 10, and they happily put together some high tables near the bar for us. Maybe it's because I've only sat at the bar in the past, but now you can either order with the server or scan the QR code that way. And the menus were these fancy tablets that I initially thought we could order through! They have so many pizzas now I forgot which one I got, but it was one I haven't had yet. I ordered a personal one through the server and I got garlic knots to go through the QR code. The staff were all very polite and everyone got taken care of. The pizza was great, and so were those garlic knots! I still cringe at how much cheaper they are in NY though, LOL! It seems like they don't do karaoke anymore, but I think they have some other events I can come through for. Long live HomeSlyce!

HomeSlyce in columbia is constantly good. Service and the food. They have a good selection of craft beer. I usually eat pizza, but the wings look good as well.
